I went to SHOT show 2018 and of course I visited our friends at Digital’s AR Products’ booth. They had some new parts on display in a variety of new color options. They have both billet and forged part available for Type 2 color anodized options. I ended up bringing home a forged red upper and decided to swap it out with the upper on my 6.5 Grendel build. I stopped by the Digital's AR Products booth and at SHOT show 2018 and came home with a brand new red anodized upper receiver! This thing looks awesome, but I didn't have a build planned right now so I decided to replace the current one on my CA featureless 6.5 Grendel AR 15 upper with the red one. Since I was doing the work I decided to make a video of it in case someone else decided they wanted to custom build an AR upper. This video will help you replace the upper without tearing apart your entire barrel assembly so you can be the cool kid at the range 🙂
